Interesting to see this old blog.
I guess with all these these ridiculous steps demonstrated by the copy command, a lot of people behinds these got promoted. The people who got demonstrated probably have never copied a single file in their live, so they have not a single clue how this shit works.
I also found out there is some bits during my photo file transfer.

A supremely poor combination is Vista plus Norton anti virus. The user gets totally ignored whilst these two compete for processor space spinning the hard drive until it is dizzy. Whenever NAV does a scan, Vista stops dead and I have to reboot. When NAV is turned off, it takes so long to get through the myriad of warnings from Vista and Norton that I have done something extremely dangerous that might threaten the stability of the very earth in its solar orbit, is simply shovet my son off the old desktop (XP, no NAV) and let the laptop's battery run flat. Note to self - buy a f*****ng MAC next time !!!

I am so in agreement with all the comments here. I felt so strongly about this that i am actually writing this ...Why? as if Microsoft will hear us..... if only!
Why don't those morons interview a few people and ask them what they liked about XP so much that they used it for years and years. Then ask people why they like OSX so much. Then just make a new windows which is as good as both combined!. Vista looks like its been made by a disfunctional team of amateurs. It is completely crap and the list of features that worked fine before and have now been vista crapified just goes on and on.....

Vista truly is the biggest pile of shit i have ever seen. after owning a mac for years and never getting frustrated and then using XP for a long time, vista is stunning in its crapness.
Why have they gotten rid of the navigation in XP? Im talkign about when you open My Computer and then you can easily navigate through directories. Now it is almost impossible to simply move up a folder.

The js fails when you write a username you erase it and then you retype exacly the same username. (the function dosn't check)

It's literally what I'm just writing, to the letter, similar url structure, same id names as well - spooky!

I've just done a version which checks on every keyup which obviously isn't great requests wise, so this addition using typeWatch is just what I needed.
